Severe weather events are becoming more frequent around the world, and New Zealand is no exception to this. We are getting winters that are wetter and wilder than ever and warmer extreme temperatures in summer. Severe weather events can cause damage to property in many ways and we all know, for example, to make sure that loose items are tied down when strong winds are forecast.
